Landon Carter

graduated from Yale and Harvard Business School. He also taught at Stanford University’s Business School in Lima, Peru, while in the Peace Corps. But it was a trip to India to study and meditate with Satya Sai Baba that solidified a significant change in life direction. During the 1970s Landon started World Runners, a running club dedicated to ending world hunger and two years later joined Erhard Seminars Training (EST) where he was a trainer for the next seven years.

He worked for an investment banking firm, co-founded Active Learning Inc., and joined Human Factors Inc. as a principal. In 2004, Landon published his book Living Awake: the practice of transforming everyday life. He conducts seminars in New Zealand, Canada, and the U.S. based on this material. Currently, through his company Sustainable Ventures Landon is involved in the development of an eco-resort property and the manufacture of low cost building materials.
